The Adoption Process at Winnsom Puppies

Bringing home a Cavapoo puppy is a joyful, once-in-a-lifetime experience — and we want it to feel easy, transparent, and exciting from start to finish. At Winnsom Puppies, our adoption process is built around clear communication, family connection, and care for both you and your puppy.
Connect With Us
Every Winnsom placement begins with a thoughtful conversation. We take the time to understand your home, lifestyle, and what you’re looking for in a Cavapoo—so we can guide you toward the right fit.
Whether you’re just beginning your search or ready to reserve, we’re here to help you navigate the process with clarity and confidence.
Join the Waitlist or Reserve Your Puppy
Our puppies are intentionally limited and often spoken for before they’re ready to go home. Families may reserve a current puppy or secure a place on our upcoming litters.
A deposit confirms your placement and allows us to begin pairing each puppy with the right home—based on temperament, personality, and family dynamic.
Meet the Parents & Puppies
Our Cavapoos are raised in a calm, hands-on home environment in Honey Brook, PA. From day one, they are gently introduced to real-life sounds, routines, and human interaction.
Families who visit will experience not just the puppies—but the care, structure, and intention behind how each one is raised.
Health & Early Development
Each Winnsom puppy receives a full veterinary exam, age-appropriate vaccinations, and is raised under a structured early development program designed to support confidence and adaptability.
We focus on more than health alone—we focus on raising balanced, well-adjusted companions from the very beginning.
Are You Ready for a Puppy?
Bringing home a Cavapoo is a joyful and deeply rewarding decision — but it’s also one that deserves thoughtful preparation. Cavapoos are affectionate, intelligent, and people-focused dogs who thrive on time, training, and companionship. Before you commit, take a moment to ask yourself these questions:
🕒 Time & Lifestyle
-
Do I have time each day for feeding, walks, playtime, and training?
-
Am I prepared for the puppy stage — including crate training, potty breaks, and consistent routines?
-
Who will care for my Cavapoo when I travel or work long hours?
🏡 Home Environment
-
Is my home (and yard, if I have one) safe, secure, and puppy-ready?
-
Am I allowed to have a dog under my current housing or lease agreement?
-
Will my children or other pets be comfortable sharing their space with a new puppy?
💵 Financial Commitment
-
Can I manage both the initial adoption cost and the ongoing expenses of food, grooming, toys, and vet visits?
-
Am I financially prepared for emergencies or unexpected health issues?
❤️ Long-Term Responsibility
-
Am I ready to care for a Cavapoo for the next 12–15 years?
-
Do I understand that Cavapoos require regular grooming to keep their coats healthy and tangle-free?
-
Is everyone in my family on board with this lifelong commitment?
